Make the best of Fresno's 'tropical' weather with the Tower District's annual Caribbean music celebration, Jamaica My Weekend. Reggae bands are scheduled to entertain guests. Gates usually open at 5 p.m. and music starts at 6 p.m. This wonderful family event will be held across from St. Therese Church on the southwest corner of Maroa and Floradora. Tickets are $10/advance, $15/gate. Admission is FREE for kids under 9 years of age.

Food vendors will be serving up tropical treats like jerk chicken and dirty rice, fresh vegetable medleys and seafood specialties. In keeping with the traditions of Jamaica, rum punch, Red Stripe beer and other cold beverages will be featured in the Beverage Oasis Garden.

Authentic Jamaican-style crafts will be available for purchase. Enjoy an evening of Caribbean food, drinks and music in the Tower District and on the beautifully shaded lawn of the St. Therese Church grounds.
